Hammerhead Series of AUV(2000)

This was the Club's first entry in to the AUV Competition, then at Florida. It was 6' long, and the outer hull was constructed from 10” tubes of PVC pipe. Inside, the computer ran Linux, and the mission code was written in C. The Hammerhead also had hydrophones, a camera, a velocity sensor and a pressure sensor. The team placed 6th at the competition.
